Can I program a universal remote to my TV if the current remote to said TV is broken?
So, the remote to my tv does not work any more. I figured I could get a universal remote and just program it to the tv. Do you need the current remote to program the universal one? Any help and suggestions for a new remote would be great. Thanks!
All you need is the NEW universal remote...and the instructions and the Code page that comes with it. KEEP the CODES, do not throw them away or lose them, and the instructions too.
Did you ever notice ALL those people asking for the remote codes for their universal remotes on Yahoo?
THEY DIDN'T SAVE THEIR CODE SHEETS...that's for sure.
