Why didn't Philadelphia Eagle fans like Mcnabb?
I thought he was a great quarterback, with good and consistent stats. Why were so many eagle fans happy when Vick came? Why were they happy when he got traded to the Redskins? And who really won that trade?
I personally think he was a good consistent quarterback other than the two years he was injured. In the more recent years, due to those injuries, he hasn't been as good as he was when they were in the Super Bowl. I really think this was a terrible decision to get rid of the only real leader on the team, and furthermore to send him to another team in the NFC East. The Redskins have made plenty of off-season acquisitions to make them a playoff contender this year. With the addition of head coach Mike Shanahan, running backs WIllie Parker and Larry Johnson, and now an experienced quarterback in Donovan McNabb. I see the Redskins going at least 10-6 and Philly doing at best 8-8 maybe.
