How much should i pay these kids?
Long story short, there are two kids coming to my farm over the summer stacking rectangle hay bails for about 1-2 hours a day.
How much should a pay these kids a piece?
Pay them by the bail. How many bails would you expect them to stack in an hour? I'm thinking 60 minutes in an hour, maybe 90 seconds per bail, so 45 bails in an hour?
So, set a goal of $10/hour = maybe 25 cents per bail? Or just pay $10/hour but don't expect them to be as productive.
