Is anyone familar with the up and coming prospect out of Detroit "VERNON ICEMAN PARIS"?
I've been watching his last couple fights and he is looking hungry. Great hand speed, endurance, and high boxing I.Q. If you haven't heard of him, you will in a year or two.
Very talented boxer. He is either 19 or just turned 20. I've seen him twice, once live in DC back in April. In his last outing, he beat a serious veteran in the "Eastern Beast" John Brown, who is shopworn but still a good win at Paris's stage because he did dominate Brown.
I've been very impressed with him. I agree he does have a high boxing IQ, especially for someone so young. He is definitely one to watch in the future.
