What should you do at Lambeau Field before the game?
My girlfriend and I are going to our first game at Lambeau Field this weekend against the Vikings. If you been there, can you give me some advice on what to do before you get there? In addition, how early should you arrive?
You will have an amazing time! I go to the game this Sunday, too, and I can not wait! So much to do at Lambeau Field before a game. Here are some suggestions: 1. If you love to tailgate, Lambeau Field is a paradise! This can be as elaborate as you choose to do so. You'll find everything the couple brings a small barbecue and cooks brats or burgers to people who are completely all over and have a huge buffet-type configuration with a ton of people. One of the best parts of tailgating is to talk to people around you and passersby. If you tailgate, be sure to socialize or it is not much fun. 2. If you're not a driver that there are many places where you can buy food and drink before the game and spend time with other fans. 3. Walk through the land Parking and meet some of the "Super Fans" like Saint Vincent and his wife, The Packalope, Packer Elvis, Gang Green, and many others. Since this is your first time, make sure you bring your camera because there will be tons of photos you want to! See also some hatchback configurations developed. Incredible! 4. There are many booths set up selling Packers merchandise. There are often stands very well on the Ridge Road, west of the stadium. 5. Stop at the Packer Pro Shop to shop or just look around. Just a warning ... this place is usually pretty packed on game day to prepare for a long line when you visit, although it moves pretty quickly. Parking at the stadium itself is extremely limited in much parking is limited to season ticket only. Your best bet for parking is one of western business stage along the access road Lombardi (the service road just south of Lombardi Avenue). KMart parking is among the best places to park, because it is quite close and there are always plenty of tailgating going. Parking is cheaper the further west you go, if you do not mind the walk and not tailgating, I suggests a saving of $ 15 - $ 20 and parking a few blocks away from Big Lots or just west of it. I think that companies very far only charge $ 5 or $ 10, while businesses closest Lambeau is $ 20 or $ 30. The game is at noon, so I would advise you to arrive later than 9:00 or 9:30 if you want to read some or all of the elements listed above. Normally, we head to the stadium an hour before the hour, so we can watch some of the warm-up activities and walking into the stadium if you want. Have a great time! With the return of Favre at Lambeau Field, the place must be absolutely electric this weekend! I'm still preparing myself to hear the mixture of applause and boos when Favre appears on the scene for the first time. GO PACKERS!
