Are The Chiefs putting Super 14 teams on notice?
After completely destroying the Blues and running rampant over the Reds, The Chiefs are definately looking on there way to a semi final berth and if they can keep relatively injury free could go all the way. Can any other team keep op with their style of play ???
At halfway through the round-robin I think it's a little early to say,was it last year,or the year before,the Blues were rampant up to mid competition and then fell over.How many times have the Crusaders been languishing in the bottom half of the table mid comp.only to come on and make the final and/or win the final.As someone else has eluded to....3 games on the trot in SA will give us a better handle on their prospects,Ian Foster says he's not concerned about the Chiefs relatively leaky defence,I would be!.....I can't see the Bulls (week 11) and the Stormers (week 12) being so leaky,especially at home.
An aside,I haven't enjoyed 2 games of Rugby so much in years as the last 2 efforts from the Chiefs,I hope they continue playing such entertaining rugby all the way to the final.
